I got access to a digital camera so that I can post pictures of the stuff I make. In my previous post there is a photo of a little boy that I did in 1/12th scale miniature. His name is Dante Powell. Why? I heard that name over a loudspeaker one evening. The name stuck in my head and it seemed to fit this little guy. He is OOAK (one-of-a-kind) sculpted in polymer clay. Dante is articulated at the neck, shoulders, elbows, wrists, hips, knees, and ankles. HIs shoes are made from cotton fabric with leather trim and crepe rubber soles. Yes, they are removable. Yes they are really that small. Actually, Dante is one of the miniatures that inspired me to make children’s shoes.

Also shown here is a couple of miniature dolls. The guy I did in 1999. He is 6 inches tall and in 1/12th scale.

The girl in 2002. This is the first time I have seen any of them so big. I think they turned out ok. What do you think?
